Malham Cove, Malhamdale, Yorkshire

View from the top of Malham Cove, Yorkshire

Peering over the top of Malham Cove, I could see the walkers on the path, about 100m below. They, and the trees and walls, were casting long shadows in the late sunshine, contrasting with the icy blue-grey limestone rocks of the foreground which frame the scene.  Frost lingers in the shade of the dry-stone walls on the ground.  It was a beautiful, crisp, cold but sunny afternoon.
